A video talk (premiered November 2001, Daraj-El-Fann, Beirut)
The construction of a mediating position between the tools of representation and the act of representation is publicly discussed. Using an interactive projected video and pre-recorded soundtrack, I interact with the images and sounds (question, comment on) to create a form where the content is destabilized in discussion rather than merely expounded. The relation of the image to the practitioner and the context it is placed in was investigated in this talk.
